Are you really getting a bargain by opting
for the cheapest solution?
Many companies opt
for "bargain" or "discount" web sites from designers that offer
the generic,
"cookie-cutter" method. Others will attempt to create their
own by having an employee or relative design one. In most cases,
the websites are not designed effectively and the company winds
up calling a skilled designer to create one from scratch...
usually within the first year.
How much should an effective website cost?
A well designed
website shouldn’t cost you anything.
Our websites are designed to make back your initial investment
within 6 to 8 months.*
This is achieved through:
-
New Clients
-
Intelligent
Up-selling
-
Cross Sales
-
Streamlining
of Daily Operations
|
|
New Clients: |
|
A poorly designed website will actually cost
you money as potential clients will not be able to find you
through search engines and, if they do, may view your company as
less professional than your competitors.
Our websites are designed with a strong marketing message, which
will show your company in the best light, set you apart from
your competitors and convince potential clients that your
company is the best choice for their specific needs.
Search engine placement is also a key factor for obtaining new
clients. If potential clients can’t find you, your competitor
will most likely wind up getting the sale.
|
|
Intelligent
Up-selling:
|
|
By informing potential clients of the benefits
that your additional options provide and/or higher quality
products, you can provide them with a longer term value while
also increasing your profits.
|
|
Cross Sales: |
|
Once a potential client finds your website, they
need to easily locate the information that they are looking for.
We take this one step further by using proven methods of
strategically placing text, pictures, links, etc, throughout the
website which “plants the seed” about other products / services
that you offer. This aids the initial sale and also adds to the
probability of future sales.
|
|
Streamlining
of Daily Operations: |
Our websites are designed to answer most of the
questions that your staff fields on a daily basis. This lends a
greater credibility to your company while also saving your staff
and sales personnel the time of constantly answering the same
questions.
We are adept at streamlining day-to-day operations. We
accomplish this through a thorough analysis of your current
methods for handing sales calls, informational requests and
paperwork. Depending upon your needs, we will intertwine
specific areas into the website which will consolidate
repetitive tasks. This has been proven to lower the costs to
payrolls and postage, while freeing up your employees’ time to
do more profitable tasks.

Final
Note: Discount Design Can Prove To Be Costly |
|
We design our websites to be the most cost
effective for the money spent. Should you decide to use another
designer, we strongly encourage you to do your homework and find
a reputable design company. We strongly advise against choosing
any designer or firm that promises a website for $300 or updates
for $40 per hour, as it has been our experience that this
usually proves to be costly.
Discount Web Designers:
Discount designers are, in most cases, people who
design websites “on the side” to supplement their income (or
large web-based firms who subcontract them). This helps to keep
their expenses low, however the client is getting no bargain:
- In most cases, these designers have
little or no experience in code development, marketing,
promotion or search engine placement. This means your ROI
(the return on your investment for the money you spent for
the website) is going to be much lower than it would be with
a reputable company.
- Often times, discount designers will not
take the time (or may not be able) to create a website that
looks as professional as your company is (the website looks
like a $300 website or the marketing message sounds like it
was created by your son, who's in 3rd grade). This will
leave a poor first impression with potential clients and
will lead them to look elsewhere, thus costing you the sale.
- Low per-hour fees: If they are pricing
updates out
at $40 per hour, they most likely do not have the experience
that someone that charges market rate will and therefore
will take twice as long… Bottom line, it will cost you more.
- Due to the software used to develop the
websites, updates are usually difficult, if not impossible
to do unless you have the original designer do them.
- Most part-time designers are very slow to
return calls, if you can reach them at all. Many of our
clients came to us after trying in vain to contact the
original designer, only to to find their calls were not
returned or the company has since gone out of business.
Going overseas:
I am a firm believer of supporting local
businesses, which is why our company never subcontracts from
overseas. Personally, I would rather pay a bit more to get a
better quality product and keep our local economy strong.
Hopefully, your company's policy is the same... but the bottom
line here is: What does somebody India know about the key
elements that drives your industry in the local market?

* Previous clients report a noticeable
increase in new clients, cross sales, up-selling and
streamlining of daily operations. The additional income and
payroll savings produced typically returned more revenue
than was spent on the initial design, within six months. Results may vary depending upon product
/
service offered and sales techniques.
